Teaching Experience

I have been teaching Piano now for 8 years at Portsmouth Music Academy and thoroughly enjoy helping my students to achieve their musical goals.

I pride myself on the ability of providing students with an enjoyable learning experience, whether they want to learn purely for fun or want to work through a grading syllabus.

I have entered many successful students for grading examinations and thus far have maintained a 100% pass rate.

Approach

Although my teaching approach is always developing, I believe it has come to a point where I can enable students to fulfill their goals in a fun and structured way.

Every student is unique, and therefore I tailor the learning process to the needs and wishes of each student. Despite this, I believe that learning the Piano should always be fun no matter who wants to learn it.

What is PMA?

I currently conduct all of my private tuition at Portsmouth Music Academy.

PMA provides one-to-one and group musical instrument and vocal lessons in Portsmouth. With a strong community of tutors and students, PMA offers many opportunities beyond regular lessons for students to play together live including student concerts, jam nights, band workshops and a kids pop choir.
